Safely test and improve your freediving limits with Roberto Pusinelli, an Italian SSI Level 2 instructor, right by your side. Roberto is a skilled free dive instructor, spearfisherman, Italian rowing champion and coach to future athletes in his gym Under Training in Switzerland. Enjoy the beauty of Cagliari, Sardinia, in a free dive apnea training on land at Roberto's rowing gym in Sardinia for 2 morning sessions and then apply those skills diving at sea for 3 morning sessions, and additional time will be spent spearfishing with Roberto at his favorite spots for groupers. 

During the week you will explore Cagliari, Sardinia with your Italian host guiding you to the most beautiful sights. Perfect relaxed trip for divers and their non diving partners. Be prepared for beautiful sunset excursions. With Roberto, you will discover Cagliari's secrets and indulge in local delicacies and wines.

There is still plenty of time for our group to enjoy the following included excursions: a guided hike around the Cagliari seaside, visit the archeological museum, stroll through the ancient city of Nora, embark on a hiking excursion to Stella del Diavolo with breath taking views, an exclusive exploration day of discovery at LaGiara and Barumini, and still have a leisure day for relaxation and shopping.

Our accommodations at Hotel Palazzo Tirso in Cagliari for the week with breakfast, our guided excursions, gym workouts for two days, free dive training for three days with luncheon included on our day at Giara, and transportation on the island are all included in this memorable experience

This is a very generous subsidized week for 6 participants over 8 days and 7 nights with 4 days of an excellent freediving conditioning and strengthening program.

Included is:

1. Excellent freedive conditioning and strengthening program.

4. Costs for the 2 morning sessions of personal one-on-one apnea training with Roberto Pusinelli in the gym in Cagliari

5. Costs for the three mornings at sea 

6. Roundtrip transportation from Cagliari airport, throughout our week stay in Sardinia and return to the airport back home.

7. Our daily guided hike and various planned excursions with guides all listed above in Sardinia.

Not included:

1. Roundtrip airfare to Sardinia

2. Lunches and dinners not included on the excursions will be as a group but they are each individuals responsibility. There are plenty of local restaurants with meals averaging $20-27 pp.


Proceeds from the event will be donated to Dynamo Camp in Italy, founded by Paul Newman, which is the only Italian recreational therapy camp for children whose lives are compromised by severe illness. 


Non divers are welcomed to join their partners. They can observe the team at the training sessions on land. Join the group on all the other excursions and activities on the trip for $1500. Please submit Application by April 30, 2025:

Deposit of $1000 is due with the Liability Release and Express Assumption of Risk Form by April 30, 2025.Final Payment of $500 for the non diver and $1500 for the diver is due July 30, 2025


Refund Policy: I understand that Diving For A Cause will incur costs associated with reservations of hotels, sailboat, excursions and gym, to facilitate my participation in this event. I further understand that all of these costs are nonrefundable to DFAC. As such, in the event of my cancellation, and if I am unable to get a replacement, I recognize that the fees paid to Diving For A Cause in payment of my participation may be non-refundable. Diving For A Cause will work diligently to find a replacement and work with the participant who had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.
