Cala Mia Island Resort, www.calamiaresort.com is a luxury all-inclusive private island resort. Located on Isla Boca Brava in the Gulf of Chiriqui on the Pacific Coast of Panama, the all-inclusive Panama fishing resort is only 40 minutes from the sportfishing and diving grounds of Panama.
World renowned Isla Montuosa, Isla Ladrones and Hannibal Banks are all a short run away from this island resort. Giant Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo and Dorado are all frequent visitors to the waters off Panama. All DFAC participants will respect the harvesting rules and there will be no take of reef fish or any bill fish.
As the divers now have 4 full days of spearfishing, 70% of their catch that is harvested is donated to the local needy families and children nearby. The participants can take 30% of their catch home with them to share with their families. Our team of divers will also serve the community through various projects.
DFAC will be using their excellent captains and crew on board their sportfishing boats. These boats will be led by Dr.Terry Maas, who will guide the captains and crew on our DFAC spearfishing techniques.
This is a very generous subsidized week of 8 days and 7 nights for $2900. Four full days of spearfishing on this all-inclusive private island
Included is your island accommodations for 7 nights, all meals, drinks, beer, wine, cocktails, boats for 4 full days of spearfishing, and VIP immigration clearance in Panama City Intl airport, ground transportation to local airport where you will board a plane for David, while your gear is carefully driven to the island. Participants will be arriving on April 15, 2023 and departing early on the morning of April 22, 2023. April 15, is a free day to get gear ready, organize the backpacks and soccer balls for the schools, relax in the infinity pool, or enjoy a little island exploration time.
Included is:
VIP immigration clearance in Panama Intl airport and all van transportation of your gear from David to Panama. You receive round trip transportation to local airport where you will board a short hopper flight to David. In David, you will be greeted and escorted to the island resort. You can relax on the island while your gear is traveling to you by van.
7 nights stay at the island resort
4 boats running for spearfishing all week with each person having 4 full days on the boats, 4 to 5 people per boat.
All meals, beverages, beer, wine, cocktails all week long. Two outdoor terraced restaurants to enjoy.
Private spa, free wi-fi, full marina on site, and dive center.
All fish is vacuum sealed for participant to take home and share with their family.

Community Service: Bring comfortable shoes, pants and work gloves that you don't mind getting "dirty". We have several projects we will be working on for the local community.
Refund Policy
I understand that Diving For A Cause will incur costs associated with boats, lodging, food and other accommodations to facilitate my participation in this event. I further understand that all of these costs are nonrefundable to DFAC. As such, in the event of my cancellation, if I can't find a replacement, I recognize that any and all fees paid to Diving For A Cause in payment of my participation shall be non-refundable.
