Blue Water Hunting with Dr.Terry Maas and Diving for a Cause
This October, Dr Terry Maas along with Sebastian Melani of Punta Mita Expeditions, will lead two teams of divers on two separate trips to the famed tuna grounds off Puerto Vallarta. While the divers will spend 3 days spearfishing, their catch will be donated to local charities. In addition, the teams will each devote 2 days to community service. Previous DFAC events have shown this is a powerful formula that leaves participants and benefactors feeling better for the experience.
These trips are for 7 days and 6 nights with three full days of spearfishing with Sebastian Melani of Punta Mita Expeditions.
The cost is $850 for the diver and the following is included:
Lodging for the week at Punta de Mita Resort for the week
Boats for the week with Punta Mita Spearfishing
Lunches are provided for on the boats
Dinners are also included (Beverage costs are the responsibilities of the diver)
Divers need to secure their own airfare to Puerto Vallarta and DFAC will coordinate the van transfers from airport to the resort.
Diving For A Cause can only subsidize two groups of 8 divers for these trips.
These costs are the sole responsibility of each diver and are paid on arrival to Puerto Vallarta by each individual diver.
Cab costs for transportation to and from the airport.
Tips to boat captain every day.
Mexican Fishing license.
Extra beverages or meals except dinner that is consumed by the diver during the week.
Please submit Application by April 30, 2013.
Final 8 divers on each trip are notified by May 5, 2013.
Liability Release and Express Assumption of Risk Form must be submitted with payment.
Dan Trip Insurance is provided for each participant on every trip with DFAC. Dan Trip Insurance Coverage: Group Travel Protection Plan
Deposit of $550 is is due May 15, 2013 and $300 final payment is due September 1, 2013.
Community Service: Bring comfortable shoes, pants and work gloves that you don't mind getting "dirty". We will spend two days working on a couple of "fun" projects for the local community.
School Supplies: Gather your pens, pencils, crayons and paper for the schools. The divers will be bringing bags provided by DFAC that will carry these supplies to the needy schools of the community. DFAC will cover the extra baggage fee for these items and place them in the hands of the children who will benefit from them.

Refund Policy
I understand that Diving For A Cause will incur costs associated with airfare, lodging, and other accommodations to facilitate my participation in this event. I further understand that all of these costs are nonrefundable to DFAC. As such, in the event of my cancellation, I recognize that any and all fees paid to Diving For A Cause in payment of my participation shall be non-refundable.
